Once the broccoli is prepared, set it aside.
In a skillet, add in the water and allow it to come to a boil.

Once boiling, add in the prepared broccoli, place the lid on the skillet and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. The broccoli should be tender yet bright in its green color.

Once the broccoli is done, remove it from the heat so it doesn't keep cooking.
