    • Which one of these fall dinner recipes will you try?

Fall is the season when I start to spend a lot of time in the kitchen again. As the days get shorter and the weather cools down, I love the warmth that being by the stove brings.

These easy fall recipes are ones that I fall back on time and time again. Using local and seasonal veggies such as zucchini, butternut squash, and broccoli are something I heavily rely on.

During autumn, our bodies usually need nutrient dense and colorful foods like the locally grown squash or zucchini. Locally grown produce also has antioxidants that we need during the colder seasons to boost our immunity!

There's definitely a balance between eating for taste and eating for nutrition. Each of these easy fall recipes will not only satisfy your taste buds but also provide much needed nutrients and health benefits for the season of fall!

    Easy Fall Dinner Recipes

    Roasted Butternut Squash Tortellini

A skillet of butternut squash tortellini.

Butternut squash is a great seasonal carb to include in many of your fall dishes. Pairing it with cheese tortellini makes it an even more hearty, filling meal!

    Oven Baked Sourdough Fried Chicken

A plate of baked sourdough fried chicken.

Sourdough has so many gut health benefits. Swapping store bought breadcrumbs for homemade is a great way to focus on natural eating without sacrificing the same delicious flavor.

    Crockpot Italian Wedding Soup

A bowl of Italian wedding soup.

Slow cooker soups are perfect for days spent outside of the kitchen. This cozy soup is packed with veggies such as carrots and fresh kale which is full of antioxidants!

    Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwiches

Top the french dip sandwich with melted provolone and fresh parsley.

Chuck roast is a very affordable cut of beef and it's also so good for you. While it's high in protein, this yummy red meat is also high in zinc, iron and B vitamins to boost immunity.

    Oven Roasted Tomato Basil Soup

A bowl of roasted tomato basil soup.

When fall harvest rolls around, there's usually a bucket load of tomatoes included. Try making this oven roasted tomato basil soup to put those tomatoes to use! We use these Hearth & Hand bowls for all of our soups.

    Creamy Sausage Tortellini Soup

Cook the tortellini soup in a large dutch oven.

Fresh kale is a great source of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants-all things that our bodies desperately need. It's actually considered a superfood! This soup includes the perfect amount of fresh kale along with other fresh vegetables. I love cooking my soups in a stockpot or dutch oven. Need a dutch oven? Check this one out!

Creamy Tomato Soup And Grilled Cheese

Dollop heavy cream on top of your bowl of tomato soup.

There's no other tomato soup recipe that I love more than this one! It's an easy fall recipe that doesn't take much time but truly hits the spot, especially when served with a grilled cheese.

    Butternut Squash Mac And Cheese

A bowl of butternut squash mac and cheese.

Are you a mac and cheese lover but you're tired of Velveeta? Do a simple swap by choosing to make your own with butternut squash as the base! Butternut squash still gives a cheesy, creamy and rich flavor that you will love.

    Chicken Pie With Drop Biscuits

Chicken pie is basically like chicken noodle soup in casserole form. This dish is loaded with veggies, making it a hearty but healthy easy fall recipe. Since it's topped with biscuits rather than pie crust (though here's a pie crust recipe if you want to use that instead), it's also a quicker version of the classic recipe.

    Homemade Hamburger Helper

A skillet of homemade hamburger helper.

Warm, hearty meals such as this one provide a sense of warmth, comfort and nostalgia in the colder months. If you grew up eating hamburger helper, then you'll most certainly want to give this recipe a go. Also, grab my favorite cast iron skillet here.

    Juicy Burgers With Homemade Buns

A plate of homemade hamburgers. Top them with cheese.

Burgers use red meat which is a great source of high quality protein, vitamins, and minerals! Top them with locally grown lettuce, tomatoes, kale or spinach for extra nutritional value.

    Bacon Meatloaf

A juicy meatloaf with a plate of butternut squash pasta.

Our bodies need sustained energy in the cold as we burn off energy. So, including oats in meatloaf helps to provide just that along with extra fiber.

    Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs

A plate of crispy baked chicken thighs.

Chicken baked in the oven is such a warm, cozy and filling meal. A simple side dish to go along with this main dish would be a cabbage and apple salad!

    BLT

    A BLT sandwich.

Honestly, a BLT is enjoy anytime of the year. An easy sandwich like this one is great for busy weeks such as back to school or sports nights!

    Ground Beef Stuffed Peppers

    3 ground beef stuffed peppers.

Stuffed peppers are a powerhouse meal full of protein, seasonal veggies and healthy carbs such as black beans or brown rice.

    Sticky Chicken Thighs

a plate of sticky chicken thighs.

An herb heavy recipe such as this one is full of flavor! I've paired it with a kale and sweet potato salad, which would be perfect to make in the fall when kale, sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts are in season!

    Fall Dinner Recipes Side Dishes

    Homemade No Knead Bread

    Fluffy Dinner Rolls

    Goat Cheese Salad

    Sweet Potato Brussel Sprout Salad

    Cucumber Salad
